Octopus only reads submissions
in the 8th month (August) of the year. Submissions sent at any other
time will not be read. In August, send a friendly number of poems
for consideration through one MS word attachment. Introduce yourself
to us in the body of the email and include a list of previous publications,
if any.

All rights revert to the authors upon publication in Octopus, and
the works can then be subsequently published, though we ask that Octopus
get its props as the place of initial publication. We'll accept simultaneous
submissions, just let us know if it is accepted elsewhere. We do not
consider previously published work.
